Neurodiversity-Affirming Continuing Education for Dietitians and Helping Professionals

Together, we’re expanding access to affirming care—and equipping clinicians to better support neurodivergent clients as the demand for accessible, affirming care continues to grow!

RDs for Neurodiversity is a continuing education platform and community dedicated to supporting neuro-affirming dietitians and multidisciplinary professionals. We offer high-quality, anti-oppressive professional development and training at the intersection of neurodivergence, feeding challenges, nutrition, and dietetics. Our courses and programs explore a wide range of topics, including feeding and eating disorders, sensory health, and inclusive, trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming care practices. Our mission is to challenge the status quo, shift the paradigm within our field, and amplify the voices and leadership of neurodivergent individuals.

Meet the Founder

Hello!

I’m a neurodivergent dietitian, clinical supervisor, and international speaker with over two decades of experience—and a parent to two neurodivergent children. I founded RDs for Neurodiversity after witnessing how traditional feeding and nutrition systems were failing neurodivergent people, and I felt called to build a community committed to doing better. In 2023, I was honoured to receive ASAN’s Nothing About Us Without Us Award in recognition of my work advancing affirming, justice-oriented care.

Land Acknowledgment

RDs for Neurodiversity sits on unceded Indigenous lands. We honour, recognize and respect the Kanien’kehá:ka Nation as the traditional custodians of these lands and waters. Tiohtià:ke, commonly known as Montréal, has been a gathering place for many First Nations for thousands of years, and is home to a diverse population of Indigenous peoples who continue to thrive despite genocide, forced removal, and colonization.
